Dr. John Minichetti
Dr. John C. Minichetti, General Dentist, Director of Implant and Reconstructive Dentistry at Englewood Dental, has years of experience in cosmetic dentistry, implantology, and prosthetic reconstruction. Dr. Minichetti graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he finished first in his class. He then completed a postdoctoral specialized training program at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. He has been the recipient of numerous awards, including those for oral medicine, pharmacology, and oral and maxillofacial surgery. He is also Director of The Dental Implant Learning Center and The Children’s Dental Health Center at Englewood Dental.
Dr. Minichetti is Chief of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Meadowlands Hospital and Medical Center. He is a faculty member of Englewood Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital, and formerly was at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Dr. Minichetti is an Executive Officer of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and serves on their Board of Trustees. He is the past President of the AAID Northeast District and has trained with some of the world’s most prominent dental specialists. He lectures nationally and internationally on the latest dental techniques.
Dr. Minichetti has treated well-known sports figures,musicians and entertainers and is a consultant to the Jazz Foundation of America, as well as the Dizzy Gillespie Foundation.
